I was two weeks away from my college graduation, and one of my three part-time jobs had me crafting perfect lattes at a coffee shop in Malibu. As it turned out, a fellow barista was the daughter of Sterling Ray, who was the owner of Atlas Pictures at the time. Atlas was a commercial production company in Santa Monica, and I wasted no time securing an interview with Sterling the following week. Two weeks after graduation, I was welcomed as the new Office Manager of Atlas. After about a year with Atlas, I became a Freelance Production Assistant. My story truly started there.

It’s not a secret that working in this business combines hard work and a bit of magical serendipity. There’s also an undeniable hustle and drive that lives deep in the core of any freelancer. It’s vital to survive in this highly competitive entertainment industry, and I took seeking out interesting projects as an invigorating challenge. Each new project, collaboration, and travel experience expanded my network and enhanced my diverse skill set, which is rooted in collaborative team development and management, enhancing client partnerships and communication, and creating efficient and effective workflows that support the creative process.

I have always had a good sense of when I’m ready to advance to the next level in my career. Alongside this awareness is confidence in my ability to take on new responsibilities. I feel comfortable growing with my team, but I also recognize when it’s the right time to embrace new challenges and seek out new mentors. This understanding is closely tied to my growth mindset, as I actively seek opportunities to learn, lead, evolve, and make meaningful contributions. I love production. I’m a creative collaborator. I’m a thinker. I’m a doer. I’m a traveler. I’m a troubleshooter. I work my ass off. I feel grateful daily that my production life encourages continuous growth.

I reside in Nashville with my husband, bonus kids, and Doodle Maisel. After spending 20 years living and working in Los Angeles, I’m fortunate to work between Nashville and California while continuing to travel and expand my networks both in the US and abroad. I have gained invaluable insights from the production companies, agencies, and brands I've had the privilege to support as a freelancer. I’m eager to leverage this collective knowledge to contribute meaningfully within an in-house creative team or brand, where I can expand my expertise to a growing team. I’m seeking a full-time position, and I would gladly consider relocating for a role that resonates with my career aspirations and supports my ongoing growth.
